I’ve lived in Wisconsin, New Jersey, and New York. My husband, my two daughters, and I have made Dallas our home.
I’ve always wanted to be a nurse, and it’s a profession that has pushed my life forward. I worked throughout COVID-19 in one of the hardest-hit hospitals in the country. I agonized about bringing a deadly virus to my
home and family. My husband said, “When in life can one stand up and truly act heroically? When can one absolutely act altruistically and for the sake of others? This is your moment. This is our moment.”
Both of our daughters came during emergency high-risk cesarian deliveries. During my 2nd pregnancy, I was working in the hospital when I sensed something wrong. I walked straight to labor and delivery, had my 2nd C-Section, and saved my baby’s life. I know how holding a miracle baby feels and want to help make that possible for others.
